The cognitive neuroscientist and author is a Faculty Member at the University College London and graduated from New York University with both a B.A in psychology and economics as well as a Ph.D in psychology and neuroscience. She has also authored two books, ‘The Optimism Bias: A Tour of the Irrationally Positive Brain,’ and ‘The Neuroscience of Preference and Choice.’
