Kindra Hall Biography:
Kindra Hall told her first story over two decades ago and as she spoke, she noticed the control she had over her listeners. They sat, in rapt attention, hanging on her every word. Even then, at 11 years old, Kindra knew she was on to something.
Years later, Kindra is a fierce advocate for the power of storytelling. She educates her audiences on how to persuade, connect, engage, and impact with those they are trying to influence or lead.
Kindra’s expertise in storytelling spans more than 20 years. At the age of 18, Kindra was invited to tell on the most prestigious storytelling stage in the world, at the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, Tennessee. There she met world-renowned tellers and studied her craft under the guidance of Donald Davis, master storyteller and featured teller of the Smithsonian Institution. Since then, Kindra has graced stages across the country and captivated audiences of up to 15,000 at a time.
She completed her Master’s Degree at the age of 24 with highest honors, defending her thesis on the role of storytelling in organizational socialization and was the youngest member to ever serve on the Board of Directors for the National Storytelling Network. Her book, Otherwise Untold: A Collection of Stories Most People Would Keep to Themselves won the 2014 Storytelling World Award and has been praised by Chicken Soup for the Soul authors, Chrissy and Mark Donnelly, NPR Contributor and award winning playwright Kevin Kling, bestselling author and CBS This Morning contributor Lee Woodruff, and many others. Her storytelling expertise has been featured in publications such as SUCCESS Magazine, Smart Retailer, Bob Proctor’s Insight of the Day, Handmade Business, and more.
Recognizing the need for carefully crafted, well-told stories in business and professional branding, Kindra has blended her years of traditional training with the modern demand for effective telling. She works with CEOs of INC 100 fastest growing companies and with the country’s largest non-profit organizations to enhance their messaging and subsequently increase reach and revenue through strategic storytelling. Kindra was also a collaborating author on the book “The Entrepreneur Roller Coaster” by New York Times bestselling author, Darren Hardy; a book acclaimed by the nation’s top entrepreneurs including Donald Trump, Tony Robbins, Maria Shriver, Daymond John, Tony Hsieh and Seth Godin.
But most importantly, as a twenty-year veteran of the stage, Kindra has the unique ability to engage an audience while simultaneously delivering content that is memorable, motivational, and actionable. Hiring Kindra to speak at your next event means your audience will not only enjoy themselves, but they will come away with strategies they can apply immediately with measurable results.
